The SMYTH Realiser A16 CS (Core Speaker) is a multichannel HDMI audio processor designed to let you experience movies, TV series, music, and games with audio tracks up to Dolby Atmos on a stereo hi-fi system, thanks to the patented Audio XD technology.

It integrates seamlessly into a high-quality hi-fi setup with two speakers placed on either side of a TV screen, delivering true immersive sound without the need for additional speakers around, behind, or above you.

Its exclusive Audio XD advanced technology converts Dolby Atmos 9.1.6 soundtracks into immersive audio for just 2 speakers, including virtual surround and height effects from the audio track, with the unique precision recognized and acclaimed in its big brother, the SMYTH Realiser A16 SE (Speaker Edition).

The SMYTH Realiser A16 CS connects to 2 active (self-powered) speakers or to a hi-fi system with a stereo amplifier and 2 passive speakers using an optical or coaxial digital cable.

It receives multichannel Dolby Atmos audio either from one of its 4 HDMI inputs (cables not included) or directly from the TV via its HDMI eARC port using the included adapter.

For optimal immersive performance, the angle between the stereo speakers on either side of the screen must be set to 20°, 45°, or 60° relative to the listener (the only setting to specify during configuration).

You are free to choose your acoustic speakers (not included). For optimal Audio XD compatibility, your hi-fi setup should meet the following requirements: good dynamics + precise stereo imaging without room reverb + clean bass.

Bonus: In addition to speaker listening, the SMYTH Realiser A16 CS also includes an immersive rendering engine for wired hi-fi headphones, powered by the renowned patented Smyth Virtual Surround technology, so you can continue the immersive audio experience late at night without disturbing others, always with a premium sound quality.
